Oregon Life & Health Exam Questions

  1. Death caused as the direct result of an occupational accident
  2. Death caused as the result of being a passenger on a regularly scheduled commercial flight

Oregon Insurance Regulations

All of the following are true when a producer recommends that his client switch from one health insurance policy to another in order to obtain a lower premium EXCEPT:

  1. The producer should be very concerned about the possibility of an Errors & Omissions claim
  2. It is an unlawful practice known as twisting
  3. This is a lawful practice known as replacement
  4. The producer should obtain a signed "notice regarding replacement of insurance from the insured

Answer: B

Under supplementary coverages, a PAP will pay up to $250 for the cost of bail bonds required because of an accident, including related traffic violations.

The primary exclusions of AD&D policies are:

  • Accidental death or dismemberment sustained while committing a crime
  • Being under the influence of alcohol or narcotics at the time of the accidental death or dismemberment
  • Anything covered by workers compensation
    • In addition, AD&D policies do not cover loss of digits, (fingers and toes). Since coverage is very limited, premiums are low.

    Answer: B 

    It is not twisting if there is a benefit to the insured (like lower premium).
