What our students have to say...

I can't say enough good things about Latitude Online Insurance School.

The training is comprehensive, easy to understand and was the main reason for my success in the state exam.

Obviously, you get as much out of any training as the energy you put into it, but I enjoyed every minute of the online courses and tutorials. I was able to spend as much time as needed on each individual lesson, since the way the information is presented makes it easy for even a relative novice to understand.

This is by far the best program I've ever worked with and highly recommend it.

--Raymond, Life & Health Course

Wouldn’t change a thing!

It seems like they have this course perfected. I love the package deal you get for the price you pay.

Michigan Insurance School Sample Practice Questions from the Licensing Exam

Michigan Life & Health Exam Questions

  1. The death benefit will be doubled if death is due to an accidental dismemberment
  2. The death benefit is paid, less the cost of the rider

  4. Twice the face amount is paid

Michigan Insurance Regulations

In Michigan, a lapsed policy may be reinstated:

  1. within 1 year of policy lapse
  2. up to 90 days after the grace period expires
  3. never
  4. within 3 years of policy lapse

Answer: C

Actual cash value is a method of loss valuation which states that no matter how much insurance is purchased, the recovery amount is limited to the amount of the actual loss incurred. ACV is defined, more specifically, as replacement cost minus depreciation. Depreciation is the reduction in the value of property over time due to use, wear and tear and obsolescence.

Answer: D

Accidental Death Benefit, sometimes called double indemnity, this option can be added to a life insurance policy for a small additional premium. The additional death benefit is usually equal to the face amount of the policy. For the benefit to be payable, the insured must die as the result of an accident. The accidental death benefit will not be paid if death occurs while committing a felony or while intoxicated.

Answer: D

If a policy lapses, Michigan insurance law allows the policy owner may apply to have the policy reinstated. The insured must provide evidence of insurability; and pay past-due premiums, any outstanding policy loans, and interest on the outstanding loan and past-due premiums. Reinstatement must be applied for within 3 years.

Insurance exam practice questions and the exam simulator are included in our online Michigan insurance license course, the TESTivity Virtual Learning Experience.
