What our students have to say...

I can't say enough good things about Latitude Online Insurance School.

The training is comprehensive, easy to understand and was the main reason for my success in the state exam.

Obviously, you get as much out of any training as the energy you put into it, but I enjoyed every minute of the online courses and tutorials. I was able to spend as much time as needed on each individual lesson, since the way the information is presented makes it easy for even a relative novice to understand.

This is by far the best program I've ever worked with and highly recommend it.

--Raymond, Life & Health Course

Wouldn’t change a thing!

It seems like they have this course perfected. I love the package deal you get for the price you pay.

What are the questions on the Hawaii insurance exam like? Do you have any sample insurance test questions?

The questions in our insurance exam simulator are VERY representative of the questions on the Hawaii state licensing exam. Here are a couple examples of what you can expect:
Hawaii Insurance School Sample Practice Questions from the Licensing Exam

Hawaii Property & Casualty Exam Questions

On a HO3 ('00), frozen plumbing is:

  1. Covered at an additional cost
  2. Covered if a reasonable attempt was made to maintain the heat in the structure
  3. Always excluded
  4. Covered if the building is occupied

Hawaii Life & Health Exam Questions

Gerald has named each of his 4 sons as per capita primary beneficiaries of his $10,000 life insurance policy. All 4 sons are alive at the time of Gerald’s death, how much will each son receive?

  1. Each son would receive $10,000
  2. Each son would receive $2,500
  3. Nothing because of the per capita designation
  4. It depends if Gerald’s wife is still living

Hawaii Insurance Regulations

In Hawaii, a lapsed policy may be reinstated:

  1. within 1 year of policy lapse
  2. up to 90 days after the grace period expires
  3. never
  4. within 3 years of policy lapse

Answer: B

Freezing of plumbing would be excluded if heat to the premises was turned off, but covered if a reasonable attempt was made to maintain the heat in the structure.

Answer: B

The most common designation is to name 1 or more individuals, if multiple people are named beneficiary Per Capita and Per Stirpes are used.

Under a per capita beneficiary designation, if one of the named beneficiaries pre-deceases the insured, the remaining beneficiaries divide his/her share, in addition to receiving his/her own. If all primary beneficiaries are still living, they will split it equally.

Answer:

If a policy lapses, Hawaii insurance law allows the policy owner may apply to have the policy reinstated. The insured must provide evidence of insurability; and pay past-due premiums, any outstanding policy loans, and interest on the outstanding loan and past-due premiums. Reinstatement must be applied for within 3 years.

Insurance exam practice questions and the exam simulator are included in our online Hawaii insurance license course, the TESTivity Virtual Learning Experience.
